Microscopy University

Here's a great site that will teach you all about Microscopy. It goes over basic concepts, has flash tutorials, and great galleries of videos and images.

WIKI: Microscopy is the technical field of using microscopes to view samples or objects. There are three well-known branches of microscopy, optical, electron and scanning probe microscopy.

Here are some great videos from the site showing Live Cells!

  • Chemical Crystals
Time-lapse videos of chemicals as they change from solid to the liquid state.
  • Pond Life
Observe the activities of a wide variety of microscopic organisms captured in a typical North Florida pond. Included are nematodes, protozoans, annelids, crustaceans, dipterans, coelenterates, gastrotrichs, rotifers, and tardigrades.
